In January the composite PMI Markit index (which summarizes overall dynamics in the manufacturing and services sectors) registered acceleration in business activity in the Eurozone at a record rate for the past l2 years, rising to 58.8 (a level superior to the average in the last quarter of 2017, 57.2).
